…Throughout the 1,200 square feet you will stumble upon vast collections of advertising tin—spice tin, coffee, tobacco, a sprinkling of pharmaceuticals, paper ephemera, oddities … our “sale” room has from 10 to 50 percent off items and the entire shop has a few DEPENDING-ON-HOW-MUCH-DUST there is on things SALE at least twice a year. Our mailing list have names from satisfied buyers going back 15 years, from all over the world…they often say “I was here 3 years ago, and bought…” they know they will always find a surprise! Or a treasure! Or a gift… If it’s Thursday or Sunday a fancy wrapping! Our walls and shelves are filled with unique and almost always genuine antiques and collectibles. …Part of the increasing collections at FINDERS-KEEPERS, is the royal commemoratives, both serious and silly, from a King Edward mug to a Queen Elizabeth Coronation bobby pin–we had an plastic QE tablecloth but we sold it–it is constantly added to in 2 locations in the store… Also ever growing, is our variety of small monuments and building souvenirs, from salt and peppers, bookends, banks, replicas, the tiny cities are growing. Funny folk art, perfume bottles, jewelry includes costume, bakelite, silver-sterling and Mexican always abound…Come see…
…Part of the great atmosphere of FINDER-KEEPERS antique shop, is the eclectic “real” antique store feeling, everyone is able to find a treasure here, part of the constants is the wide array of new and used books from a Nancy Drew Mystery to a large picture book of Lady Di or the sinking of the Titanic. Another feature is blue and white china–some English, Japan, a bit of flow blue and the ubiquitous willow pattern, and Delft too…There’s always a good selection of mahogany furniture, a dining room setting, sterling silver pieces, salt sellers, and the occasional piece of art for your wall. The only constant really is that you never know what you’ll find at FINDERS-KEEPERS antiques, but people have been coming back for 12 years now at our location at 1451 S.
